THE DESIGN DIFFERENCE
As the original longboard wakeboard, the key ingredient of the Nomad is it’s abundance
of surface area. The more you have, the slower riding speeds you can tolerate without the
feeling of dragging / sinking. The surface area works in tandem with a rigid belly to offer
bigger pop, more stability and more control on landings. Thanks to Slingshot’s lightweight
wood-core constructions, we’re able to produce a wakeboard of this size without a
noticeable increase in overall swing weight.
