Nidecker Prime

The Prime is a fully spec’d binding for younger riders that packs high end performance into a smaller size. The nylon baseplate and hiback feature the same asymmetric design as Nidecker's adult bindings, guaranteeing a great fit – especially with matching Nidecker boots. It’s a lightweight chassis with a suitable flex for smaller riders, encouraging them to play around on the trails and boost their skills in the park.

EVA cushioning at the heel will help them absorb any heavy landings.The Prime’s ankle and toe straps expand perfectly around the boot using an ingenious hinged pattern called AuxTech®, while the bomb-proof Proton-Ratchets will withstand all the abuse they can throw at them during a full season of chair laps, drag lifts and rail hikes. Baseplate

• Material – 70% nylon, 30% fiberglass. This blend creates the ideal balance between binding responsiveness and flexibility.
• Nylon + Axis Unibase – a baseplate with a fixed heelcup that perfectly copies the shape of Nidecker boots. It has an asymmetrical shape for optimal energy transfer and rounded edges support the natural flex of the board.
• PowerBeams - reinforcements running through the baseplate add stiffness from toe to heel, improving edge-to-edge energy transfer while maintaining the board's natural flex
• EVA Heel cushioning – a foam pad that absorbs shocks while riding for greater comfort.
• Nylon Multi-Disk - a center disc that fits all types of traditional inserts as well as the Burton Channel system; 4x4, 4x2 and M6 Channel

Hiback

• Nylon Hadron hiback - a one-piece asymmetrical hiback made of strong nylon that provides a balanced combination of support and comfort and fits perfectly thanks to the asymmetrical design that perfectly follows the shape of the boots.

Straps and Ratchets

• AuxTech® Technology – AuxTech® straps feature a geometric pattern that acts like a network of tiny joints. When tightened, the strap spreads evenly around the boot without stretching the material. The result is better pressure distribution, less foot fatigue, and a direct connection feel.
• Proton Ratchets – lightweight and easy-to-use ratchets with a lever made of an even more durable compound than the Axion version.
• Exo-Frame – AuxTech ankle strap hugs the shape of the boot perfectly. The external "spine" of the ExoSpine strap evenly distributes pressure and holds the boot in place for maximum comfort and performance.
• Hexo Toecap - bottom strap made with AuxTech technology - a 3D construction that does not deform during movement, so it provides better performance and increases comfort.
