Description
Ronix Kinetik Project True Flex Wood Core Cable Park Wakeboard 2027
The Ronix Kinetik Project True Flex Wood Core Cable Park Wakeboard 2027 is an ultra-flexible park board developed for creative riders who want unrestricted movement across the entire shape. Designed with Dominik Hernler, it combines fast, aggressive cable performance with exceptionally soft flex.
Previous Kinetik Project boards divided their flex characteristics between two concepts. Flexbox 1 concentrated softer flex through the centre, while Springbox 2 focused additional movement through the tip and tail.
For 2027, True Flex brings those ideas together in one fully flexible construction. Instead of limiting the softer areas to specific zones, the entire wakeboard can bend and adapt to the rider’s movements.
The wood core uses separate top and bottom layers that can flex independently. This construction allows the board to twist and contort more freely than a conventional single-layer wood layup.
Independent movement between the layers creates greater freedom during nose presses, tail presses and technical feature manoeuvres. Riders can manipulate the board naturally without relying on one predetermined flex point.
Despite its exceptionally soft construction, the Kinetik Project maintains a fast rockerline. This efficient profile helps the board generate speed across the water and between cable-park features.
Locked-in bottom channels add controlled tracking and dependable edge hold. They balance the board’s flexible character by providing the grip needed for fast approaches and confident transitions.
The result is a highly expressive cable wakeboard for riders who value deep flex, aquatic freedom and a fast park feel. Its design supports Dominik Hernler’s aggressive riding style while remaining playful enough for creative sessions.
